Glad to come on board. Kind of new. So I may need a mentor.
I'll use the search as best as I can. I started PE about 3 months ago. 7.25 BPEL 5.75 .
I'm wanting both length and girth gains. Goal is 1 inch length 3/4 girth.

Currently air pump and modified jelg/ hand stretch.
I would love any advice on traction, what brand. water vs air. What brand. And the why behind it.. My wife of 35 years is on board and is an awesome partner. We watch TV while I exercise. Lol.
I hope this a patient forum that shows people grace for asking stupid questions.

The only stupid question is the one you didn't ask. Obviously everyone here will recommend MoS based products, but at the end of the day they seem to boil down to two categories of action: 1 vacuum (ie silistretcher) and 2 compression (ie lengthmaster). Compression can generally achieve more traction/force, but can be worn for short periods due to circulation restriction. Vacuum is the opposite, can handle less force but can be worn longer. The water vs air is a continued debate, but a trend I've notice is air seems to be more convenient for many. Either way, just be careful on getting overzealous on the pressure too early. Personally given your goals, I would focus on length, as girth will come with it. If by the time you've gain your inch in length, see where you're at for girth and go from there.

Welcome to MOS brother. If you want length gains and you don't want to use an extender, I suggest you get yourself the length master. You can get the needed 1 inch in length within 6 months of using the length master for 1 hour daily. Below is the link to the length master
