Its the second time i have finished a post and when i wanted to reply i got logged out what happened

Never had this happen, maybe it is a security measure you have selected on your computer under privacy?

Most definitely. Some people do not know they are using it. If this is not disabled you will be logged out after a short period. I find it better to have no security and just erase all use after I am done surfing.

I keep cookies saved for MOS. Never once have I had this problem.

Not sure how long cookies save w/o using the save me option, but I would also give that a look.

I am the same, I never get booted out. On an Apple it is easy to make these choices on cookies. Some sites I want erased before someone users my computer and I am very forgetful so taking the time to understand the security features can save a lot of headaches in the future.

I have it setup in a macrorecorder where if my computer is idle for 20min, it will delete cookies (can also specify cookies to keep) through CCleaner and backup my firefox profiles (can also specify segments to backup) w/ MozBackup.

Then that goes into a 2nd portable harddrive and a USB drive w/ synctoy through task scheduler.

I had a harddrive crash and it was the worst feeling ever. I takes around $900+ to replace the heads in most of them.

EDIT: Just realized that the above has basically nothing to do w/ what you said, but it brought up the memory of how important firefox is and how I prevent losing the data. I have sooo many bookmarks/plugins/settings it's insane. It's sad really.

It must be something in your privacy settings on your computer or browser. I am always logged in and never get booted off.

i am dealing with this with my Mac, can anyone show me and shortdick how to fix this ?

Just make sure when you log in you click the box that says "Keep me Logged in" If this is not the issue it must be an issue with your privacy setting on your mac.

I agree. I do the same. But no one else have access to my computers or data. It's the most safe way to protect yourself.

Incognito feature/mode is garbage. My brother thought he was secured from outside attack with this on, that's not it.
It's just for, if you share the computer with someone else and you don't want them knowing what you have looked at on the internet.

Never share your accounts with anyone else. If you share a computer you need multiple accounts for each user. Or you can have a guest account set up so you keep your data private.
