I'm currently using hydrocortisone but would like someone to explain its benefits. How does it do exactly what it does?

Hydrocortisone should be used after you have trained for the day. It eliminates redness, itchiness, dry skin, rashes and as a general moisturizer.

I started to have rashes below my glans from hanging. I was prescribed Hydrocortisone by my doctor. I read the directions on the box and it says not to use if for more than 7 days... Are you guys using it everyday? If so, do you apply is all over your penis, including the glans?

No no no you do not want to use prescription strength. Do you want to go to the drugstore and pick up the over-the-counter version. It will be .01%. You’re better off just buying from the store here so you get exactly what you need. The prescription strength will end up causing issues and that’s why we sell a very low strength.

I read online that extended use of hydrocortisone, anywhere on the body, could cause thinning of the skin.
Has anyone tried using baby bum cream for a general moisturizer down there, as well as to reduce redness, itching, rashes? The cream that's used for nappy rash etc.
I bought a tube of Fissan cream. It's used as a nappy barrier cream. Inexpensive and available at most stores. Active ingredient is zinc oxide.
I figured if it's safe enough for a baby's bottom, it's safe enough for me.
Using it once a day and it is helping to reduce redness.
Any thoughts on this?

The hydrocortisone they’re talking about is a much higher strength and by prescription only. The hydrocortisone that we use is .1% which has no risk whatsoever on the body as a matter of fact it actually makes the skin healthier. I’m glad you asked the question because I think people get confused on this. Simply click on the word hydrocortisone and it will bring you to the store where you’ll be getting exactly the right formula.

Thanks.
I see on the MOS shop the Hydrocortisone sold there is 1%. Should it be 0.1% instead?

I use the 1% cream of the shop and had zero problems. Not skin thinning, nothing, and I have used more than 10 bottles already. As long with bacitracin for any blister that happens on rare occasions.

Safe if it touches the head?

Yeah no big deal. Again, I spread all the creams from balls to glans for three weeks to see what happened. Guess What?
Nothing bad happened, it just healed.

  • Just to be safe, only apply it from: base shaft up to the corona of the glans. No further than that.

The post that you see from people on internet saying they got rashes and such, is because they are allergic to them, and their doctor prescribed them "maximum strength" instead of going in increments to see how they react to it.

ALWAYS PATCH TEST ON FOREARM

When I was using the silistretcher, I got infections because I wore a silisleeve and somewhere in between my penis and the sleeve, sweat came in. My penis was itching so bad and each time I scratch it, it got swollen so fat. The hydrocortisone cream solved the problem.

This cream should be applied every night before going to bed (that's if you are using a silisleeve).
