This is so frustrating. There's a small cut/sore on my shaft from when I was unknowingly using a VLC cone that was too small. It caused some issues, but everything but this small cut has healed. I've taken up to a week to let it heal, and only gone back to using my SG/VLC when I thought it was healed. Then, a few days or a week later, it re-opens. No blood, but some pain because it's on the part of the shaft that gets collected up inside the VLC

This is getting very frustrating as I know I'm losing whatever progress I've made from having to take so much time off of PE >:(>:( Does anyone have any suggestions?

Allow more time to heal. Seems like that area was still in a weakened state.

Get yourself some Bacitracin and apply 3 times a day and it will heal within 4-5 days.

Damn it, guess I might as well give it more time. Will use bacitracin daily

Bacitracin will heal this 10X quicker than anything else. Be patient and let it do its thing, you will be healed with a week.

does that gel keep things moisturised too dld? as good idea to not let the skin dry out so it doesn't start to split and prevent the cut from healing as quick.

It keeps it moist so as not to encourage cracking but don't let the moisture fool you, it is doing a great deal of healing. After you have sorted this issue you will want to switch to Hydrocortisone to keep things moisturized and in good shape. This issue will never happen again.
