There are many Samsung phone users, and to keep your phone contacts safer you would want to move them to your computer, but we can't do that just via a USB cable, we need an android file manager to help. I found Coolmuster Android Backup Assistant really helpful.

Samsung contacts backup, follow this:
Step 1: Connect Samsung Phone to PC and Run the Problem
Connect your samsung phone to computer via USB cable, then start the Coolmuster Android Assistant. The problem will detect your samsung phone automatically and you'll see some detailed info of your samsung phone in an interface.

Tips: If this is the first time your samsung phone connecting with the problem, you'll need to enable USB debugging first. You just need to follow the guide to open the USB debugging and install USB driver on your cell phone. Once the USB debugging finished, you'll see an interface just like above.

Step 2: Select and Check Contacts and Start Export
Now you can click "Contacts" on the top to view all of your samsung phone contacts, select and check those you want to backup, and just click "Backup" to start the export.

OK! That's all!

Very complicated way to make a backup of your contacts. But maybe this was the only way back in year 2016.

Now you just go to your contact application -> Mark/select (long press on the circle in front of the name) all the contacts you want to save. Then you share that to your file manager, or share it to SMS or email... Now you have created/sent a .vcf file incuded all the contacts. Just load that into a new phone if you want to.

The easiest way is to keep
an automatic backup to your Google Account. Then you do not have to think about it.
