Anybody for some Ouija board discussion/s?

As the title suggests this is for discussion of the Ouija board. Its workings, experiences, warnings, positives etc etc.
If you've used one then please share your experience with us or a story to tell. I'll sit back on this one and allow the thread to get warm because we need to liven this section up a bit and what better to start with the Ouija board.

I think it is a very bad idea to use a Ouija board. It seems like it would be interesting but I don't think one should open up things that should remain closed. Even if you think it's all phony, why would you place yourself or your loved ones in jeopardy? Just pass on it. I have been told of some bad experiences. Whether I believe in it or not, I leave things in the spirit world alone. I mean if you purposefully try to conjure up something rather than let it come to you, it is a very bad judgement call in my opinion.<

I'm with you. The risk/reward doesn't add up for me.

I do not see why it would be bad unless you were invoking bad spirits. A Monopoly board could be just as dangerous.

I think that most people aren't trying to reach good spirits or bad spirits. They take it as a joke, or on a dare with their friends, and let whatever happens happen. The only way you can really tell if it does something is if you use it alone. Otherwise you could play it off because "one of your friends must have been moving the glass piece". As I said before, it just isn't a good idea. I am probably being paranoid, as I'm a slightly paranoid at times, but sometimes it pays to be that way.

P.S. Monopoly was the shit back in the day. Though it could cause extreme anger in certain players. Namely the players who are losing. Ah, such insight.:s

I agree, it is in poor practice to invoke the spiritual world through irresponsible means whether it prayer or any other spiritual connection. These things should always be done with the utmost reverence and seriousness.

STAY the FU#$ away from them FOR REAL, you open doors you cant close, I am a Christian and im NOT pushing religion, the reason I say that is god says dont mess with, divination, sorcery, and the like and for a good reason, what you contact from ouija boards are whats called familier spirits and the are bad news, please dont be offended, I just like to warn my friends, these things can open doors to the other side and once there opened thats it, whatever you talked with or communcated with will NOT want to leave you alone, take it from one who has seen weird shit after people have used them. quick story my mother used one one night back in like 1975, my dad was out drinking with his friends and my mom was home alone she and a friend used it and asked it what bar my dad was at, well it spelled a bar name out, my mom looked it in the phonebook and lo and behold there was a place bhy that name, that freaked her out and then she called it and my dad had just left that really freaked her out, she never heard of that bar and when my dad got home he told her that, some friend took him there and it was his first time there, she threw it out that night and that was that, I dont know what the hell is up with them but they do have a way of talking with spirits just not good ones..

I actually have had one expierence with a Ouija board during the winter olympics. Me and my sister asked it who would win and get the game winning goal, it told us sydney crosby and it said the score and everything. After that we made a bet with our mom and won like 15 bucks it was so weird though. Never touched one since.

Your thoughts and experiences are welcomes. Doesn't matter what religion or belief, it is all welcome. We are free to choose to use it or not to use it but I want discussions on both sides. I appreciate you sharing this. Can you please go into more details about these familiar spirits and also the weird experiences from those you know who have used the board.

What I will add is that many times with bad experiences its the user asking and speaking to any spirit that comes along and many times that is bad because the more darker stuff operates in the lower astral realms while the good spirits and angels are in the higher realms. One must also make a circle of protection beforehand, either visually mentally or physically to keep unwanted aliens out and away from the board. Prayers can be said before using for protection etc. To close it another prayer or incantation is said, the spirit/s banished with respect and the circles cast away.

The reason the gate is open and usually keeps open is that those who use these boards are disrespectful and just talk to anything!!! they don't use protection and nor do they close the gateway afterwards. I think its a bad idea just using one of these without knowing who to communicate with, that is asking for trouble. Even Aleister Crowley ''The Beast'' said to always have in mind who you wanted to communicate with and to always have a circle of protection around the board ... he was a very famous black arts magician.

I never did because I was brought up Catholic and a Ouija board was considered sacrilegious. I’m obviously no longer a Catholic but I still would not fuck with a Ouija board. The devil is always lurking at the door seeing where he can pounce upon someone in a Ouija board will be the perfect way to do it.

This might help you understand a bit more. We can only pray to God we cannot pray to dead people. People who will pray to dead people can end up inviting a demon into their lives as a demon will play the part. It’s not smart to fuck with the dead as the devil will certainly take his foot hold!

I've never used one due to not knowing how to properly use them. I believe they can be a doorway for bad things, but then again plenty of doorways in the physical world for that. Not in a rush to use one myself.

I definitely think that that device is a spiritual weapon,that can badly hurt the user anytime, how many cases out there where fucking bad things happen after the kids use that device.

I use to listen a you tube channel horror terror stories,people call to share their experiences and there was this guy saying he had been using the ouija board for years n he had never dealt with anything bad all he did was to ask for permission" to use it n say bye everytime he was going to stop playing with the board...

it’s not good to try to contact a dead person, they cannot hear you. They are dead. So when someone tries to contact a dead person you better believe there is a demon waiting to take that position. Let the dead bury the dead.

Just depends on your own religious spiritual beliefs I guess, from my angle the dead still exist on a different level altogether than what we can comprehend here on the physical earth, but they aren't dead as such ... however, using such devices unless you are very pure, the environment is pure, everything is just right, a chance exists for something unexpected, and perhaps wrong to happen.

Its much safer going to a spiritualist meeting, some spirits are not demons and do make contact with mankind for many reasons, usually to bring news or advice.

I didn’t mean spiritually dead I meant physically dead. Of course the minute we pass our spirit is with God immediately.
