Why difference in standing and sitting measurement?

I never understood this, I sit with body at 90 degrees and measurement is .5-.75" bigger than standing? anyone get this, I have a very small fat pad maybe .25". Could it because of erection angle?

Hmm...its weird i really wish i was longer standing, thats the way its mostly seen, wonder if there is sum exercise to change that difference...?
