What Kind of Car do You Drive?

I know we have a lot of members from all over the globe. I was curious and wanted to put a car with the face. I live in the USA and drive a 95 Land Rover Defender 90 (very hard to get in the states) and a 95 Range Rover Classic. I guess this is the norm for a lot of my UK members.

Well my Defender was vandalized right after I made this post and they broke every window in the car:( Lots of dents and such. I was pretty bummed but just got off the phone with insurance and it looks like I will get all new windows, seals and all the body work taken care of. The body guy is going to do a few upgrades and such that I wanted to have done and much of the labor will be taken up by insurance. Pretty cool outcome from a shitty event. Now I am driving the 95 Range Rover Classic:) The fun never ends.

"THE ANCIENT WARRIOR"

'87 Trooper II that's been totalled three times. Mid-way through the fourth build and new incarnation.

So far I've killed four other cars, two trees and the prejudiced (dis)beliefs of hundreds of "Jap-Crap" bigots.

Lots of insurance companies hate me too....too fukkin' bad.

2008 Mazda MX5 Miata. I compete in RTR (Road tire rear wheel drive) C Stock class in SCCA autocross events. I also enjoy track days at Pocono Raceway. Had to replace a lot of my undercarriage after going off course at Pocono last year and also needed to replace the engine at 17k miles because I forgot to check my oil level at an autocross event. Incident free so far this year.

Why have you gotten into so many accidents?

Two accidents were rear-enders who pushed me into other cars, one ran a red light, last one was a fukkin' "bimbo-on-a-cellphone" that, literally, drove underneath o' me..
Sometimes it feels like I got crosshairs painted on the damn doors.
I'm damn glad that truck is tuff.

Driving the 95 Range Rover Classic now with no ac:) Gosh this feels wonderful! I especially like the knocking in the engine, it is a real head turner:)

Was the bimbo hot? Then you could say: Hey baby, I'll leave your insurance company out of it if you let me lay down the pipe. Then make her insurance pay anyway! Haha, it's diabolical, but someone's got to do it. Hot girls get off far too easy for speeding and other vehicular infractions!>:(

Actually, she was. 'Rican chic w/great, huge knockers. Unfortunately that fukkin' cell phone was like, surgically grafted onto her empty little head. And the minute she drew a breath to reload: started accusing ME of causing the accident.

Any...ANY move on my part could only have constituted sexual assault.
And in a sane society; would have been justified.

I PRAY for the return of sanity.

Today I am back in the Range Rover as the Defender has once again decided it did not want to work.

Back in the Defender today...if all goes right I will be leaving for Florida on Sunday or Monday.

You should get a Hummer just so people think you are over compensating.
And when they say that you just whip your dick out and cock slap them in the face.
Food for thought.

This is sooooo fucking ridiculous, but the Defender broke down again! The Range Rover, with the blown head gasket that shots oil and antifreeze everywhere as it fills the sky with black smoke, is still getting me around...Unbelievably! Anyway, the Catalytic Converter, that I just put in 8 months ago now has mjor rattle and exhaust leaks! Great job Magnaflow, so worth the $800! ###@@@Fucking so pissed! Anyway, my mechanic really does not want to be my mechanic anymore but said he would do this job. I am deleting the cat and going with a straight pipe. Fuck Magnaflow! Fuck the Catalytic Converter and Fuck the Environment...suck my V8 exhaust the whole way to Miami Bitches! Should have it on Friday. Once I have it and it actually drives I will leave for New York first and then on to DC and finally Miami where a lot of work will happen in a very short period of time. Had to vent.....fucking gay ass Land Rovers....

Carmakers in the UK are only obligated to make parts for 10 years for an individual model so i suspect most cars are newer on average than the USA (plus you have lower taxes).

That's horrible customer service.

I drive BMW. Luxury cars in India are damm expensive 90 to 125% import duty. If suppose 7 series BMW in USA 60000 USD then in India it would be 110000 to 120000 usd.

Wow, that is a crazy expense. I am sort of in a similar position, my Land Rover Defender when new costed $35,000 but today, 18 years later, it is valued at $80,000 so I have to pay the tax on that. They get you any way they can!
