This weekend there were more protests against the war in Iraq in addition to the two in D.C. and NYC around the GLOBE. Didn't see much attention paid to it though on TV. Anyone in the D.C. area want to comment on it? Like numbers that showed up? I'm hearing close to a million since pretty much the people stopped being counted after a while. Lowest I've heard is 250,000. Definitely hit their target of 100,000 though from all accounts.


Sidequestion: Hey RED and other UK citizens know about the Iraq deadline for troop withdrawal for the Brits?

lol yet I bet lots of those idiots wanted the war in the first place and now [SADLY] bodys are comming back in bags they want out, well sadly you cant just run away when you start trouble. I dont agree with the war and Blairs decision to go into it but we [the UK] are in their now so we must finish what we started and get something done.

well, sadly there were just as many people protesting this war before it started, but no one covered the shit. This particular protest was barely mentioned in our media at all. It was in a few papers...maybe like one front page mention of it from what I looked into and like an article in my local paper deep inside the paper towards what is basically the hide a story pages. I wrote people my concerns about the war in January and February, but man no one listens in such times.
