URGENT: NFL picks for the weekend of Oct. 16th

I have to turn my picks in late tomorrow night. Man, there appears to be some really difficult games to call this week. Making the right calls could be a great opportunity.

ATLANTA @ NEW ORLEANS

CAROLINA @ DETROIT

CINCINNATI @ TENNESSEE

CLEVELAND @ BALTIMORE

JACKSONVILLE @ PITTSBURGH

MIAMI @ TAMPA BAY

MINNESOTA @ CHICAGO

N.Y. GIANTS @ DALLAS

WASHINGTON @ KANSAS CITY

NEW ENGLAND @ DENVER

N.Y. JETS @ BUFFALO

SAN DIEGO @ OAKLAND

HOUSTON @ SEATTLE

ST. LOUIS @ INDIANAPOLIS

Thanks guys.

Got this posted kind of late. I didn't get the sheet until yesterday, as I had Monday off and forgot about getting the sheet when I left work on Tuesday.

Well, hopefully I'll get some advice before I head out to work later today.

I'll take Atlanta, Detroit, Cincinnati, Cleveland(I swear if somehow J. Lewis ends up doing his thing against the Browns...!), Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay, (who would have thought I'd like to see this game) Minnesota, Dallas, Kansas City, Denver, Buffalo, San Diego, (San Diego wins a close one) Seattle, Indianapolis.

Again, without any long details, I'd take :

New Orleans
Carolina
Cincinatti
Baltimore
Tampa Bay
Pittsburgh
Minnesota
New York Giants
KC
New England
Jets
San Diego
Seattle
Indianapolis

ATL ove N.O, - Atl is just better.

DET wins - DET had some talent, well mopre than Carolina!

Browns win- Clev is up and coming, Blat can't go round for round with them.

Seattle wins big with a high powered offense!

Pitt wins - Regardless if BIG BEN plays or not Pitt will dominate!

Tampa wins - With Defense!

The Bears! Win- Again with Defense, The vikings D just sucks!

Dallas wins- NYG and Eli have a lot of growing up to do! If Plexico has a great day NYG might pull it off.

The Cheifs beat the Skins with there high powered offense!

The Pats win, they are a team that has to prove me wrong.

Just Vinnie and the Jets! I say Vinne pulls another one off!

The Chargers wins big!

STL beats the Colts- Why???? Because Mike Martz is in the hospital. Guess what he will not be calling plays this week, look uot for Steven Jackson, and Marshall Faulk to finnaly get involed ito a game with results. No more Pass, pass, pass. Yeah the Colts can pick apart the corners of the Rams, But look for them to come out hard with something to prove, because of last week. Tory Holt will get more action than Harrision. The final Score???

Rams 35 the Colts 31 Yeah I know I'm fucking Crazy!

Oh yaeh- Cinnci wins, and yes them and #85 are for real!

Also Seattle wins. Look for Alexander to have a field day!

If St. Louis scores 2 TDs in this game they should consider themselves lucky. The Colt's are giving up under 6 points a game. Freeney will have himself a field day on Bulger's ass. The Cowboys better hope Julius Jones plays and is 100%. If he has a high ankle sprain they need to sit him this week. That denfense will get to Eli Manning early and often.

Well, in a few hours I'll know. I chose:

Atlanta over New Orleans. Atlanta is enough as hell, enough so that the Saints will not rebound in one week from the Green Bay Massacre.

Carolina over Detroit. Harrington has his bad days and the Carolina defense will make this another one.

Cincinnati over Tennessee. Tennessee is rebuilding and Marvin Lewis and company aren't going to let one loss turn into a slump.

Baltimore over Cleveland. It's in Baltimore and it just seems like the Ravens love to remind Cleveland who the real Browns are all too often.

Pittsburgh over Jacksonville. Either Maddox or Batch will be just good enough against the Jags.

Tampa Bay over Miami. Griese has a great game.

Chicago over Minnesota. The Vikings has sucked worse than I ever thought possible. Until they prove otherwise...

NY Giants over Dallas. Toss up here. Maybe the Cowboys have nothing left in the tanks after last week?

Kansas City over Washington. K.C. is still tough, whereas Washington is still overrated.

Denver over New England. Look at the past three weeks. The Patriots won in the closing seconds at Pittsburgh. They got their ass handed to them by the Chargers. The barely beat the Vickless Falcons and they're a little banged up. The champs have a little bit of a question mark hanging over them. Denver is on a roll.

Buffalo over the Jets. Don't think Vinny can do it back to back.

San Diego over Oakland. The best 2-3 team in football has lost some heartbreakers and will be out to go .500 and keep the season from getting away from them.

Seattle over Houston. Simply said...it's Houston we're talking about.

Indianapolis over St. Louis. The Rams are not off to a good start and now they have off-field issues with their coach.

Dallas is definitely playing above expectations. I knew that was going to be a battle and I chose the wrong end of it, as did most of the office.

Well, I won. I have a printout of the office pool and I picked 11 out of 13 games today. Four other people picked 10 but all four of them have Indy winning tomorrow night, so no one will beat me out this week.

Indys defense has not yet faced a good offense, so they truly have not benn tested. The Rams have some of the best talent on offense in the NFL, if not the best. So this will be the first true test of Indys D. I don't think Freeny will do too much to the QB, he will be fighting Alex Barron, or Orlando Pace all day, do I hear pancake??? This game will be a shootout, who ever has the ball last wins!

Martz is supposed to have his cell phone on and call in plays!!! WTF??? That might be our downfall right there.
