Technology UPS experience, redirect the delivery?

It seems like I need to be at home in order to get the package delivered, and I can't re-direct the time, when they can come with the package. Like morning afternoon...

What are your experiences with UPS, how does this work?

Talked to the support, and I think I can put up a note on the door, when they can come (when I'm at home).

I do not think it needs signature but if they do they will leave note for the next delivery window. I think you can also have them hold at the ups center
