Yeah it looks good. The only beef with it is that they got a "sex symbol" like Brad Pitt to do the film. Epics shouldn't star teenie bop idols. But it does look like a very good movie and I can't wait to see it.

hey, dont hold it against brad pitt that women find him extremely attractive. he is anything but a teenie bop idol, hes actually a very serious and good actor and has done a lot of serious very deep movies.
 
Oh I agree he's a great actor. He is a teenie bop idol though...I mean, he's freakin' Brad Pitt. Teenage gals think he's hot stuff (I'll admit...he is).

But when we saw the preview and I heard several teenage gals near me (including my girlfriend...rrrg) get excited that Brad Pitt was in the movie, I thought it may not have been the best choice, although he will probably do an excellent job with the role.
 
Yeah can't wait to see that movie too. This will be some great movie a lot like LOTR3. I saw the preview and it looked mighty. I think Brad is ok. He was also good in Kalifornia and 12 monkeys. He is not just a preety face. He has some good acting skills. In the Seven movie Kevin Spacey was the king. When is Troy coming out?
 
I'll give him kudos for being a great actor, but I think his sex appeal is way overrated. He's just a regular guy with nice cheekbones and a toned (but skinny IMO) bod.

Anyway, just my two cents...
I do value his work, though. He's got good acting skills.

Yeah, I know what you mean. People over-romanticize celebs. I doubt he was that "hot" when he was wearing the chicken suit. He isnt too built just toned, and that is including his nude pics too IMO. I also dont get Benicio Del Toro, who is often compared and called a Latin Brad Pitt. Just looks like a guy who never sleeps and mumbles.
As far as the Movie, I really dont know much about it.
