While doing some circular stretches tonight I got to thinking that while it is a great stretch, it is one dimensional. So I supplemented it by doing a stretch that for lack of a better term I will call "The Cross". I start by stretching straight out, and this is my return point throughout. I simply then pull up toward my navel and then in a slow, steady motion, down toward the floor. I come back to my original position which is straight out and then pull to my right and then back across the middle to my left. I keep the stretch going and once more come back to my starting position straight out. When I go from top to bottom and also right to left, I don't stop in the middle. I only stop in the middle to switch directions. I simply repeat the steps for whatever time frame I am stretching for, which tonight was 45 seconds each time. I think that this stretch combined with the circular stretch pretty much hits everything.
