Stupid question

This is probably a stupid question but if there is one place to ask it, I figured it would be here.
So when I am sitting down I am 1 inch longer erect compared to when I am standing up. I don't know if this is similar for other people but an inch difference seems like a lot.
Why does it change so much when standing up? I have very little fat pad.
Do any of you experience this and is there any way to expose more of the penis when standing up?
 
I believe we all experience this. If you doubt it, give it a try right now. Erect stretching and expressive stretching are two exercises that can help to expose the inner penis.

Other length exercises also help one way or the order in exposing the inner penis.

Yes i also had that issue. What i decided to do is stop measuring standing and measure sitting from that exact way every time. Measuring should always be done the exact way each time.

The best answer is when you stand up, the pelvic floor muscles engage the muscles and suspensory ligaments, causing a partial retraction. It can be a centimeter to as much as 4 centimeters. When you sit down, the pelvic floor muscles get a nice pool of blood, forcing the muscles to go into a relax state. This releases all the engagement to all pelvic floor muscles, allowing the suspensory ligaments to also relax. You gain that extra hidden length that is not pulled by the body. It's a biological safety mechanism. As mother nature say, you can't be reproducing while you're running or walking.
