Still having problems

Hello all. I was wondering if anyone was still having problems accessing this site? I still am having a lot of problems. That is why I am posting this here so it gets noticed quicker. I have noticed just about any post by DLD and Norton dings this site and then locks it down completely for 30 minures or so before I can log on again....

We are working with the tech guy tonight, are there anyone else who are having problems. Please be as specific as possible.

Are you sure it isn't spyware? Microsoft has a beta spyware program now that it very good. You should download it and run a check on your system. The spyware got so bad on my computer that I had to completely restore windows. The free spyware program can be downloaded here.

The problem isn't spyware, the problem is that you're using Windows. It's the most widely-used OS in the world (doesn't mean best), so of course all the spyware will be targeted at Windows systems. Not to mention Windows is put together very poorly, which makes it a ridiculously easy target for the computer nerds that make your favorite viruses. I haven't had a single problem with any of that crap in the 2 years I've been using a Mac. Really, anything is better than Windows. And you can always get Virtual PC to run your Windows programs.

Spyware isn't necessarily targeted at Windows but at Internet Explorer... you can resolve this issue easily by using third party browsers like Opera or Mozilla Firefox. Coincidentally, these are a Windows port of *nix browsers... I also use Linux quite a bit and have to concur that these types of problems just don't exist on non-Windows platforms. I can do anything and everything on my Linux box that i can do on my Windows box and then some... including running Windows apps without running a PC emulator like VMWare or Virtual PC.

Get spybot search and destroy its FREE and scan your computer, get the latest updates for your OS.
I NEVER have any issues when I come here, my PC is very secure and I DONT use Norton...its just not reliable and wont protect you 100%.

People whom have these issues either DITCH Internet explorer, it has holes...most software does, shame but IE has ALOT.
Get Mozilla firefox, still has holes but not as many as IE, or Opera 7 you pay for version 8. K-Meleon is also good, another version of the Mozilla engine.
Also ditch Norton, they are terrible...get something such as zone alarm, sygate, cisco for your firewall and kaspersky,F-Secure or AVG for your AV...but dont use the FREE version, either get them hacked or pay...free versions aint much use in the longterm.

If ANYONE else is having issues than tell us what your ANTI VIRUS is, what your FIREWALL is and what your OPenis EnlargementRATING SYSTEM IS and also your WEB BROWSER.
Do you use SP1 or SP2 with regards to windows XP.
Do you have any other security software such as trojan removers, anti keyloggers etc etc, if so than name them.
When did the problem start?
When does it start?
post logs of the error.
I hope to resolve this ASAP and have two ideas as what it could be.

Ok Red..here I am. I disabled Norton's and was able to get through.
When I use Norton's it locks up and sends me the message I PM'ed you. It happens with both Netscape and Firefox. It happens absolutely whenever DLD has posted in a thread or even when I click on his name to PM him. It will show his name and then lock up without showing DLD's avatar(Jen).

I have ran both adaware and spybot.

What are you thinking it could be?
