From my experience, g-spot orgasms are what causes squirting. But she must be completely relaxed and open to it. Most chicks hold back cuz they feel like they have to pee when you stimulate her g-spot, if they just relax and let go they will squirt. Some squirt in gushes and others just a little trickle.
 
I always thought that also until i read a study wher they analyzed the fluid from a woman's ejac and they found that it wasn't urine. Also, they may feel like urinating, but if you stop and they try to pee, they can't cuz no pee comes out.

I have to tell my g/f to try that some times, b/c she thinks it is pee that will come out.

That's what most believe so they hold back... just make sure she pee's before you two get started so you can re-assure her that she won't pee. If she let's go, then she will experience a much more intense orgasm and possibly squirt. How much she squirts varies from woman to woman.
