question for DLD about Locks of Love

sorry to make a new thread for this, but DLD said he was donating his hair to 'locks of love'. i have some too, 13 inches! and wanted to ask him if he mailed it to them or had to deliver it to a hair salon? i couldn't get this answer on their website. thanks for any reply.
