So there are two ways you gain length and one way you gain girth.

With length you can gain from ligament stretching (in reality just weakening them a bit) but also from growth of the tunicia in the soft muscle tissue which is also what provides girth gains.

Your tunicia basically expands like a balloon so while your girth gain will be bigger in volume, you'd notice the length addition from it most.
 
For me I gained length at a rate that was ridiculous. In six months I gain 2 inches of length. In that same time. I gained 1/2 of an inch in girth. I highly recommend you read through the SRT routine which will give you the most up-to-date and modern practices in PE. There are four routines there but I also will customize a routine if you can’t find one that works for you.

The answer to this question depends on how much of your time daily you are willing to commit into training. I will say 2 to 2.5 inches in length and 1 inch in girth are both doable in a 12 months period.

How much time daily would estimate spending on PE to achieve 2 inches length and 1 inch girth take in a year?
