Don’t put it in carry-on or else your experience embarrassment. Check your bag and you’ll be safe from anybody knowing what’s there.

Even if they do check the bag there’s nothing illegal about what you’re doing. And you’ll never be in contact with the person who would be checking so there will be no embarrassment.

That's right, if they see the mityvac pump in my bag are they going to arrest me? I don't think so. I must travel with my pump and length master whenever the time comes.
