penis went a little numb in one small area

When I was do some hard jelqing tonight I notices a bump forming on the top shaft of my penis tissue, near my head. It felt weird, so I cut my workout a little short and applied the heating pad and in that area feels a little numb now, not to bad just a little. Anyone know what this is? what i did? And how long it takes to heal? It was like a little knot in my penis tissue.
