No need to get too upset. I will chip in as soon as I clear some things up and I am sure other people will when they get chance as well.

Like RED said however we all put our efforts in to make this forum how it is. It is not just one person. Every member and MOD contributes equally with the Admin, a couple MODS even have their own sections determined to help people out specifically. One mod went so far as to have his own forum so that it does not increase bandwidth usage here. We all do our part.

It's not that everyone is cheap just they need to feel ahead of the game in order to be able to give something out.

This is the reason I have said time and time again (with no response of course) that this forum needs some sort of shop. If people could buy what they are always asking for anyways all in one place, they would. They would buy what they know they will need and know where the money is going. Also they would be buying from people they trust.

I honestly don't believe donations is the only way to make money here. It will always be the same people donating and some of them are doing it out of pitty.

Most people in life will not just give out money because they feel if they can help themselves so can others and because they feel they are not getting anything solid out of it. But I can tell you if they can give out money and get something solid out of it (i.e buying a hose clamp for $20 with next day shipping knowing that at least $10 goes to the forum) they will give more money than they would if they felt they were giving a mercy donation.

Maybe one day someone will read what I have to say and we can put this into effect so that we do not need donations.

I know he probably wants more to go to the forum but still this was a nice gesture and show of appreciation. just want an update I guess

Hasn't increased one penny since the negative and self-centered detracting posts were written in this thread. Many here simply take advantage of this forum and DLD and do not show respect for the top leader of [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/join-now.html]MOS[/words]. Appearantly it is good enough just to put forth effort to make this forum what it is. I expected members to show a little more respect and appreciation for DLD. Of course there are many many excellent members in this forum but I just expected a more positive support.
