Hey guys, I was thinking. Maybe one of the mods here could be the point man and we all chip in a few bucks for maybe DLD to get a nice digital camera for xmas. Or maybe if enough people chipped in, maybe he could take Jen away for a weekend. I don't know. Something. I just think it would be really cool for all of us to do something like this for the guy who does so much for all of us and tries to get so many things going for us.

What do you all think? Would one of the mods be willing to take donations using Paypal and then either buy the gift or present the money to DLD on xmas eve?

Sounds good, even if it lots of small amounts I think its a great idea. Would be able to get a nice useful xmas presant. Merry christmas DLD ho ho ho and all that.
 
This is all great. Everyone PM a mod with a Paypal acct to act as the collection man and I bet we could get alot for this. Any suggestion on who it should be? I was thinking maybe AC?
 
If you guys are gonna go ahead with this you may want to get it done soon. Most postal places stop shipping or have already stopped shipping for the holidays.

My idea is this, one of the mods collect the money, we all give it to whichever
mod volunteers(hint, hint) then said mod just gives the money to DLD and let him get what he wants. Hell, the cam was just a thought of something that I thought I read somewhere that he needed. This way, he can buy whatever he wants,or he can buy whatever cam he likes best.

All righty...I'm clueless...why does it have to be in by Christmas? Or at least it sounds that way. We should just tell D that we want to do this for him and then we can send him the money ourselves with a note saying use it towards a camera. I don't see why it has to be all secretive. It is kind of late in the game so that's the only reason why I say this. I mean what like 8 days or so out from Christmas is a little late isn't it?

In fact, your way is probably the best in the long run anyway so everyone can just give what and when they want. I am just glad we were able to draw some attention to it.

If we are serious about doing it, lets do it. If not, I dont want to be the only one to donate on the Dash line.

If it doesnt work here I will definitely donate more to the Donation Drive with a note about part of it being for Xmas.
 
Hopefully in the new year we will finally understand that we have enough people with the right connections and we will be able to support this forum without donations.

All we need is another sub section for a Penis Enlargement shop. I already know people would buy. Most of the money goes to the forum the rest goes to the people linking the connection.

Actually, I'll have to send my money out Tomorrow. I forgot...fuck. And it'll be a check for 15 bucks to go strictly towards DLD's gift so if like Lightning or whoever that sees the donations through to their rightful places of allocation so to speak um look out for it and it'll say for DLD's gift or something like that. Couldn't agree more.

I can't stress anymore the fact that this forum needs a shop. We have too many people here with connections to good quality items at low prices. We have devices and all kinds of Penis Enlargement related things. Yet we deny this gift and ask for donations??

With all the information on this site it should be paying for itself. People can get what they want through the shop, profit goes to the forum and no more donations. Everybody wins and we all progress together.

I read back up through this thread and see several detractors to this idea and it's no wonder more people did not join in on this effort. I am going to wait a few more days to send to DLD so at least maybe a few more members will chip in. It's a wonder that DLD can even make this forum exist with such pathetic support and appreciation. No need to get too upset. I will chip in as soon as I clear some things up and I am sure other people will when they get chance as well.

Like RED said however we all put our efforts in to make this forum how it is. It is not just one person. Every member and MOD contributes equally with the Admin, a couple MODS even have their own sections determined to help people out specifically. One mod went so far as to have his own forum so that it does not increase bandwidth usage here. We all do our part.

It's not that everyone is cheap just they need to feel ahead of the game in order to be able to give something out.

This is the reason I have said time and time again (with no response of course) that this forum needs some sort of shop. If people could buy what they are always asking for anyways all in one place, they would. They would buy what they know they will need and know where the money is going. Also they would be buying from people they trust.

I honestly don't believe donations is the only way to make money here. It will always be the same people donating and some of them are doing it out of pitty.

Most people in life will not just give out money because they feel if they can help themselves so can others and because they feel they are not getting anything solid out of it. But I can tell you if they can give out money and get something solid out of it (i.e buying a hose clamp for $20 with next day shipping knowing that at least $10 goes to the forum) they will give more money than they would if they felt they were giving a mercy donation.

Maybe one day someone will read what I have to say and we can put this into effect so that we do not need donations.
