Negatives ... yeah Arthur Jones liked them allot and trained many champions with them.
They do work well due to the fact they allow you to hold more weight than your positive & static positions can with positive being the weakest.
Downside is that when a fool uses these methods they could injure ligaments & tendons more easily than with other methods because of the heavy loads and the lowering of that heavy load placeing more stress to the joints.
