Kegels???

I’ve seen postings about how important kegels are. I was over on R3dd1t earlier, and there’s a bunch of posts saying kegels destroyed their pelvic floor. No one seemed to go into much detail, so I was wondering what they did to hurt themselves. Are kegels REALLY safe???
 
This is where you have to understand that, "Too much of a good thing is a bad thing."

Kegels are safe, but there is a daily limit. For young bucks, there is a hard limit per day, roughly around 60 1-second hold and 30 5-second holds in combo. For the older bucks, 120 1-second holds and 60 5-second holds are the daily limits. But these limits must be worked up slowly. It will take a full month to get to this daily limit so the body don't over tightened up. Pelvic floor lockups are the results of over active healthy muscles overworking and unnecessary functions of the body, like doing bicep curls like a madman all day long. It will cause your biceps to freeze up and lockup due to the excessive workout.

There are brothers that need to get their kegel loading in to strengthen their pelvic floor to increase their PE potential, but it's not necessary in most cases after PE routines is done. Once the PE routines are done, no more kegels, unless your pelvic floor has been trained and conditioned for large amount of kegel routine.

If you want to go deeper into the science behind it, we can. But the main key is, too much muscle engagement without proper conditioning is like running a marathon without training. Be ready for some narly pains if one thinks one is invincible.

Oh R3dd1t. Kegels and reverse kegels were one of the most effective exercises I did not only for stronger pelvic floor muscles but the combination of the 2 inside my training. A Combination of kegels with girth work and a combination of reverse kegels with length.
