I never realized this before but now I feel especially stupid. What are the benefts of a weakened PC muscle? Is it that it leads to further growth and thus making it easier to build a strong PC muscle which helps in ...or is it that you want it weak for the time being as it will cause your bpfsl to stretch farther and make it easier to not have as much resistance when you stretch period? I guess I really don't know if that's not anywhere close.
No you dont want a weak PC muscle. I was stating that the best way to strengthen it is to start with the 5-6 second holds and then move on from there. The 5-6 sec holds helps regain a stronger neurological connection. Then you move on to building hypertrophy of sorts. My thoughts are that ALOT of people have weakened PC muscles. It is VERY difficult to strengthen a muscle if the neurological connection isnt strong.
You have an interesting thought above weakening the PC muscle then doing your flaccid stretches. Hmmm.
