Since the pelvic floor muscles are skeletal muscles, why do it every day? 1 day on, 1 day off would be best I guess. Same with biceps, triceps and all other skeletal muscles. You need a day rest in between workouts.

Exactly but the difference here is we are looking for not only strength but longevity. Endurance is very important with this muscle group so look at Kegels as an exercise bike more than a dumbell.
