Haha, I go by the same measure too; are my abs still visible since that is very important for me. Though I still weigh myself every morning just to be sure everything is going in the right direction.
The more fat a man has on his body thus less testosterone he produces and the fat also contains the aromatase enzyme that converts the testosterone into estrogen. Not good at all for a man’s well-being.
You’re right about that, having some extra tasty foods around. Have bought me some potato chips and a couple of bags of nuts and some really tasty protein yoghurt just to speed up the
weight gain process. I eat so healthy most of the time anyways so a bit of snacks with fats, carbs and protein won’t do me any harm, just aiding in the
weight-gain process.
And most definitely, yes, everybody should work out and put on some muscle mass, especially as we age. Too bad most people can’t be bothered or are just too lazy to work out. I remember this summer walking my dog with just a shorts on in the hot weather and I passed to younger boys that exclaimed: «wow, look at that guy».
It made my day even better.
