Im getting sooo pissed

For the life of me, I cant hang without discomfort. No matter how or what I use to wrap with. It always hurts right at the glands.Ive used powder then wrapped. Ive used a soft sock then wrapped. NOTHING makes it feel beter. Im only using 5lbs.I built a capatins wench, redi-stretcher,Bib hanger. they all hurt when I try to use them.

this is my stretcher I bought from ebay. I modified so you can stretch down or out.Stretcher With this, I feel Im not getting a good stretch, because it pushes way in my fatpad.I only feel stree at the head and the base for the most part.

Any help would be great.
 
What you wanna do when wrapping is wrap farther away from the glands. find the right tightness of wrapping that when pulled by hanger you skin will roll over the glands "padding them". This will take some work, each guy is different. Just be patient.

Ive done that also. I dont have much length when soft, but it either way it still hurts or just slides off no matter how loose or tight I wrap
 
Please clarify, did you build a "Bib hanger" or did you buy the real thing? I have yet to speak to anyone that, when properly coached, could not make a real Bib hanger comfortable especially at 5 pounds.

I agree with loco. It sounds like you may have too much blood in the head. If not, please give more information, and we can help. Where exactly on the head do you feel the pain? Is it the entire head, or a particular area? Does your hanger place any stress on the top of the shaft behind the head?

I found that by using no wrap at all, the discomfort is greatest. Then I tried Theraband and it took care of the problem until I reached about 7.5 pounds. Now at 9 pounds, I use a thin, soft cloth with self-adhering sports wrap over it and this has given me better comfort at this weight. Right now I wrap about half an inch from the glans, but still have a little bit of trouble witht he hanger pulling skin over my glans. I don't want to tighten TOO much, because when I start to feel sharp pains, that is not a good sign. Hopefully this can address part of your problem--does anyone have any suggestions on how to better "grasp the internal structures?"

Grasping the internal structures is a function of tightness and hanger adjustment. For some guys, this could mean a flat surface (straight adjustment), toe-out, with the back of the hanger doing most of the grasping, toe-in, with the front of the hanger doing the grasping, etc.

There should be no pain involved, but when you tighten, you should feel the hanger really compressing. You can manually push the hanger as you tighten, and actually feel when it begins to grip, if you pay attention.

You may be able to get Theraband at a local physical therapy shop, or medical supply house.

Thank you for the advice. Right now I have it as a "flat surface" with the back tightened all the way and the front tightened pretty tight as well. Would moving the wrap lower on the shaft have any effect? It seems that moving it up helps though. How much skin over the head is acceptable? What affects whether toe-in, toe-out, or flat should be used?

I do not like the sound of that. What exactly do you mean? The outer wing nuts on front and back, at the bottom, should be tightened down fully before attaching the hanger. The adjustment nuts are inside the right side skid.

If you are using the outer wing nuts as adjustments, it is little wonder that you are not grasping the internal strucures.

It surely could. You should try many different things to see what you like best.

Really, any amount is ok, within reason. It just depends on how much extra skin you want. But, I would say the head covered half way is about right.

If you start the wrap about one inch behind the glans, and are using over ten lbs, the head should be covered about half way.

Your own personal preferences after trying different things. You should easily be able to feel the differences in different wrapping styles, and hanger adjustments. But I am really worried about how you are adjusting the hanger. Please get back to me.
