Your viewpoint is understandable, I guess if they were so close to the father that the husband could never fit in the spot that he should be, because she will see the father there. Its not that husbands need a wife to be suBathmateissive, they need a wife to be a wife and represent the feminine aspect and also be respectful.
Today is pretty bad with many saying it makes no sense to get married, since the wife literally has a green light to strip your nuts from you. And its a joke. She can cheat on you, blame you and its your fault.
I believe a woman who say her father as a man, treating the mother well and the mother treating the father well should be able to use the example from her mother. Also from her father, not quite what to expect - but to see that there is intimacy and emotional bonding between the pair.
