I am a HUGE hot sauce junky. I love store brands, imports and homemade shit big time. I'm rocking some Desert Pepper from Costa Rica right now and it is cool, not my favorite but nice. I found a real dope mixture of dumb hot and sweet called ¡TINA! Almost the perfect joint. Nice heat with a awesome roasted Habanero flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. For me it is all about maximum heat without sacrificing flavor. Sometimes people think hot sauce is all about burnin' the mouth and the hotter the better...but I have had dumb hot sauce that burns your shit but has a real bitter taste, just nasty. Then there has been times I have a sauce with equal or even more heat and the flavor is real nice. Just like wine there are wack ones and the quality goes up from there.
