help with near infrared wrap mW/cm²

Well, before I ask, "Why so high?", let's ask a few questions:
  1. How far from the skin is the wrap in terms of constant distance?
  2. How high are the "true" LED specs compared to the "assumable" specs? Remember, the company can claim whatever they want, and overblow their expected values, but most of the "true" measurable results fell short by 50%.
  3. What is the longest vs shortest time period you want to expose under red light therapy (RLT)?
  4. What is your needs using RLT? For example, most brothers use the RLT as cell exciter/energizer, while others use with a purpose of keeping the tissues warm at the same time. As you indicated, 100 mW/cm² may be needed if it' for short period of time.

Now, this is going to be tricky for the wrapping kind. On top of that, you want to use it for other parts of the body. This is where things will get a bit complicated.

So, any wrapping type will lack severely in power. If you're looking at the various devices out there, the most effective ones are the one you actually lie on top of, or pressed down on, in large panels. I have a BioMax 900. The MoSRed is considered the mini version of it. Even though the manufacturers overstate the LED's capacity, it's only deviated by 15%. The wrapping kind, it starts at 50%, and the worst yet, it can be as deceptive as 95%. Even the reputable brand-name version is as bad as 50%. I can't throw the names out there because what I say here will be considered as "defamation".

However, I will provide the products that the brothers have been using, or consulted with me, in the past. My rule of thumb is, go twice to triple the power, and consider it as the baseline.

Novaa Lab RLT (the highest rated system, and divide that by 3 to meet your expectation, but take it with a grain of salt)
Cellumar and Megelin (take it with a massive bottle of salt on this one since the "power calculation" is heavily underpowered"

Other ones mentioned went out of business or are no longer being sold.

So, my suggestion is not to use wrap, but have a box/panel. For example, MoSRed is one, Lumebox, BioMax, and many others that have adjustable distant from 0in to 6in, covering a larger area. Again, if you're aiming for 60 or greater mW/cm², always look for devices that go twice and triple the power output. You will not get it on a "battery" operated unit, or a skin hugger that runs on a battery pack. I truly challenge that and have yet to find a true measured device that meets it. The companies will flat out lie to your face by using a solar spectrum measurement meter and claim it's meeting the specs. I can tell you that it's not the proper way to measure for the RLT devices.
 
Thank you for your reply, and I appreciate your expertise. What you say is spot on, but the wrap wraps around the penis completely, and I can wear it while lying down.


Whereas the panel only benefits the penis from the front side.


And also, I cannot touch the penis to the panel for fear of burning the penis.


Secondly, I want to enlarge the penis and the corpora cavernosa by heating and repairing using the wrap, where I will heat the penis first, then stretch it with the extender device, then after finishing the stretch, repair the damage using the wrap again.


Therefore, from my point of view, I see that the wrap is easier for me. but without deep irritation more then real 60 mW/cm² i won’t get any benefits


Please guide me if I am wrong, and you have all my respect and appreciation.

The panel or the box do have it's limitation on covering everything in one go. The only thing is the limited power rating that's considered as effective. The panel and box allows to have greater coverage area, only if the area is "flat" and deep penetration more than 6mm. The wrap will only penetrate roughly about 4mm and less.

As for the panel/box, you can reduce or adjust the power rating to have contact. For example, a few spa uses direct contact panel where spa user can lay down onto the surface. It feels like a warm bed. My BioMax 900 panel feels like a hot bath, not scolding, after 20 minutes of usages. The Lumebox has a warm surface area and not hot. If the body is pure plastic, then there's no heat sink. That will make the LED surface hot to the touch. High quality units use a metal box surface as a heat sink, dissipating the heat elsewhere.

Well, using the RLT is not a wise choice for that reason. The heat is not high enough to penetrate deep into the tissues. It's great for activating the cell energy house to repair and duplicate. It's not so much for heat. That, you need IR heat pads. An example is the motorcycle handlebar heating pad for cold days. Those handlebar heater is crazy warm. You can adjust from low, medium, high, or just cook your penis in the sleeve at roasting.

So, for skin close up, I believe Novaa Lab may be the best bet for just lying down and provide just enough warming. Deep heating, most of the RLT devices will not provide it. It's mainly for light spectrum generation for deep penetration. Larger units like the MoS Red and BioMax can spit out tons of heat, but it's not through the lights. It's more for the circuitry and resistors to ensure the LEDs generate the proper light spectrums.
