girth vs width?

Hi all,

I'm just wondering isn't girth the same as width, whether your looking from the front view and it looks more oval compared to a cylinder like shape, either way the measurement around still determines the actual girth, so my question is no matter whether your trying to work for girth or width aren't you technically just enhancing the overall girth...persoanlly I'd rather my penis look more like a cylinder (which it does now) not flatter and oval shaped, any thoughts are welcome.

Girth is circumference.
The reason you want a oval shape over a circle shape. (And we are talking penis cross-section.) is that you can provide more surface area with less volume of blood. A coke can's cross section is a circle. This allows you to have more volume and less surface material to contain it. When the penis was being designed, the idea here was to provide as much of a surface contact with the minimal amount of blood. There you have it.
If you do the math, the area of an circle is more than the area of an ellipse of the same given circumference. If you do not want to do the math then try the following:
With a string tie both ends together. On graph paper form a circle with the string. Count the squares. For an oval, now count the squares. You will find you have less squares. Same girth, less area, less blood.
Example: Let's say your cock was 2" in width. Mine would have to be 2.5" on the wide side of the oval and 1.5" in the narrow side of the oval to have the same girth as yours. However, you would need 7% more blood to achieve the same girth as I could; assuming we had the same length. You will be displacing 7% more pussy than I would but we would be making the same amount of vaginal contact.
