England against Algeria on Friday was a shameful performance by England. I've never seen such poor play ever by an English team. No desire, no determination, no nothing. They are a disgrace to the nation and are overpaid. I prefer Rugby myself and the England team are true lions for them but the England football team ... well ... shocking. Dont deserve to get through the group stage and Capello the manager cant be blamed all the time. Every manager England has gets blamed in the end.
What it boils down to is England team is hyped up too much, when in fact they are nowhere near as good like the nations of for example Argentina, Spain, Brazil, Portugal etc etc. We used to be world class like 15 years ago but now we're nothing and need to face that, stop expecting and assuming we should easily beat teams like the USA and Algeria because we're England ... we're in the lower class of nations football wise, like those two nations themselves ... just need the penny to drop and than to take positive action to build up international tactics and a decent squad.
I think that the USA and Slovenia will qualify from our group. If the USA beat Algeria and hey they had a goal disallowed against Slovenia from 2:0 behind the US made it 2:3 .. now that's passion and commitment for your country!!!! If America beat Algeria and England draw or lose to Slovenia, than we are out. A win against Slovenia is a must and again they are considered minnows in comparison to his hyped up England. Personally now I would like Slovenia to hammer England and ensure the penny drops and something IS DONE for the future of English football.
I think Argentina or Spain will win it.
