Feedback on my SO setup

Hi bib or anyone thats hung straight out can you have a look at these pics and give me sum feedback.

Im using the same wrap and hanger setup as i was for bundled hanging but for some reason i'm feeling alot of pressure on the head and foreskin,no slippage.

I did 4 20min setss this morning and had to stop because the foreskin was getting sore,i had the same problem last time i tried this angle.

Getting a very slight pull down the sides of the shaft towards the base does this sound right.no fatigue but i think that is due to not using enough weight. All 4 sets at 14lbs which is a fairly light weight for me,don't want to up the weight till i get set up correct.

The pics show the pully wheel under the desk which i'm hoping will allow me to use less weight than i did before when hanging straight out.

The hanger attached but not fully tightened.

Aview from the top showing settings

And a pic with weight attached,it looks like there is skin stretch at the base but the skin is very loose no tension on it.

That is not too unusual when you change setups. I would hazard to guess that the hanger is pulling at a different angle, where it actually attaches, stressing the soft tissues in a different way than they are used to.

Couple things you might try: Put the shaft in the shaft well at a slight diagonal, either with the head up toward the top, or very low in the shaft well. This may do it, but if not, try to attach the hanger so that the hanger turns up a bit, in relation to the direction of pull, toward the pulley. You may be able to move the strap down a bit and retighten, etc.

You are definitely stressing tissues that have not been stressed before, or not as well.

Bingo. The hanger has slide down too far. It does not appear to be grasping the internal strucures and bunching of the shaft. I can plainly see the head through the foreskin, and the hanger is too close. You need to pull the foreskin back just a tad when wrapping. Then, loosely attach the hanger. Then, pull the head and upper shaft through the hanger, and begin tightening.

Further, it does not appear that you have the bottom adjustments in enough, or the hanger is not tight enough. There is little room for added tightening. Adjust the hanger to where you can grasp the shaft a bit better.

Also, I see in that last pic that the hanger is turning up a bit. So, work with the tightening and bottom adjustments.

Hi bib,its strange how i used these settings while hanging bundled and had no problem with slippage but SO it want to pull over the head, spent my two hours this morning experimenting with settings and managed to cock them up altogether,i even tried closing up the bottom adjustment nuts all the way but still got most of the pressure on the head.

Never mentioned this before but my shaft is sort of carrot shaped 6.5 EG at the base tapering down to 5.25EG below the head, the way i used to wrap used to give me a wrapped girth of 4.5 below the head and just under 5 at the bottom of the wrap.

Recently i have started to spiral the wrap tighter as i go down the shaft to give an even 4.5 all the way down,or slightly less at the bottom of wrap.

With this in mind what toe position would you suggest?

If it was me, I would try toeing out and in. But, since I was the exact same shape while hanging, I would venture to guess that toeing out will be better.

PA,

No. It still appears the the bottom adjustments are not in far enough. The top teeth still look almost closed, and the hanger not tight enough. You may need to use a bit more wrap.

bib,

Done a bit of experimenting with different wraps, using a length of my wifes silky nightie material, looks like theraband in the pic but its not.wrap was started with foreskin back about an inch and a half below the head.

Attached the hanger slightly further back than normal and seems like i am getting somewere near but still needs some tweaking, alot less pressure felt on the head and only felt slippage on one set out of six, going to try with a longer length of nightie material and make the wrap slightly thinker.

Heres the latest attempt pics.

Thanks.

Hmm it might just be me, but on those new wrap pix it looks like you might be wrapping too tight. But then agian what do I know lol .

Well ive gone back to using a longer length of theraband with a layer of nightie material over the top, this brings my wrapped girth up to an even 5 inches, this session is the best yet, getting much more of a pull down the sides of the shaft,if i swivel slightly in the chair i can get a really good pull down the side of the shaft balls area.

PA,

Alright, that looks a lot better. More shaft in front of the hanger, and some room to further tighten if needed.

I enjoy reading about guys experimenting with their setup. I can preach all day about the need to try different things. But a guy actually doing it, and finding success is irreplaceable. Thanks very much.

Bib it should be us thanking you, your the one who spends alot of time helping and advising.

Just a little update, starting 3rd proper week SO,theraband wrap and nightie material is working well, tweaked hanger setting slightly.

Up to 16.5lb for first two 15 min sets, getting a nice ache in the lower shaft balls area.

Going to stick at SO till end of year now.
