I am not able to get onto [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/join-now.html]MOS[/words] from my house (or get any email from [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/join-now.html]MOS[/words]) It is very strange as I can access any other site and retrieve any other POP email accounts. Nothing with mattersofsize.com is working for me. If any can offer help it would be greatly appreciated. It really makes no sense. I am on my sons computer now. BTW, I use an Apple if that helps.

You checked to see if you have a virus or any sypware, you should get on by using a proxy, download some proxy software, for a quick fix but not permanent.

had this prob some time ago, my guess is that the isp needs to update their stuff

in the meantime you can try to get on [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/join-now.html]mos[/words] this way?

allso clear out your own cookies, might do the trick aswell

Maybe a review of your security settings? Sometimes my idiot box seems like it has a mind of its own and clamps down on website access and accepting cookies. When it does, I gotta go in and manually reset EVERY-FUKKING-THING in Internet Options...hell, I still can't view half the graphics on here.

But, if you haven't already; clear all yer browser cache and take a look at security. And if that don't work just kick the mofo.
(Gotta looooove Windows, huh?)

That is dope! never knew I could do that. This weird thing is my email POP account do not work either??? If it were only the internet site I could understand but the fact that it is affecting my POP emails (dld@mattersofsize.com, etc.) really makes it strange.

I will use this link tonight and see if it works. In the mean time, if anyone else has some idea and solutions, please post. I can get on through my cell phone tonight to read the ideas. I will be on for another hour and then it is back to the house.

Thanks Guys!

Depending on how deep the damage goes there are a few spots you can block websites out that spyware and viri engines would miss. As for surfing you can always use the google language translator to fool the browser. Simple as using the page translation feature and telling it that the page is in spanish and you want it in english. The translator thinks everything is cool and you get your website up under their proxy service without using your current restricted settings.

Hey yall, I can't figure it out. I was on the phone for an hour with my i.s.p., they went through their entire troubleshooting protocol and when nothing would work the phone would magically disconnect. I am lost for a solution. I can't have a virus as I am on a very secure apple with a proper firewall running as it should. Obviously, I am able to get on via proxy site and I have been able to retrieve some of my mail through a similar proxy type POP site. The issue is not with my computer as I borrowed my sons laptop and it did the same thing. I also thought it may have been an operating system issue as I have just switched to OSX 10.5 Leopard but my sons computer is still running Tiger so that is eliminated. I have hard rest my modem, unplugged, replugged, start, restart etc. with no success. I could understand this if it were all websites that I could not access but it is only www.mattersofsize.com and every other site on our server. This includes my POP accounts that have any extension from my server sites. WHen I put a different POP account in my mail it works fine. Very strange and I really need help. I hope someone can direct me on this.

If the issue reoccurs with more than one machine it is something on the ISP side unless you have a hardware firewall or proxy in front of your machines. I do this kind of stuff for a living and unless your router/firewall has an exclusive rule set in it to disallow all port communication with mattersofsize.com then the ISP is giving you a run around. Call and immediately ask for the manager on duty who is in all reality an individual working for 9 to 10 dollars an hour that probably doesnt have much working knowledge of a PC, just a call center. They have the ability to escalate your issue up higher in order to get it to the people with some decent technical knowledge in order to asses what might be going on. Unless you really picked a bone with someone who knows their way into and out of a backbone router and through the hoops needed to isolate an individual port it should be easy for them to fix.

Hey Pan, The first link wont work for me because I am on an Apple and I tried Firefox with no luck. I guess it is Proxy surfing until I get this resolved.

Do you happen to have a "Go Back" feature on your computer? You might've picked up something somewhere that's causing this and going back to a working configuration might help. Or maybe not...I ain't too bright.
But this has worked for me in the past.

Good luck with it, I know it's frustrating as Hell.

my computer nerd friends always advise a system restore when a nagging problem won't correct... computers scare me and make mad in equal amounts.

i often find shouting and swearing genuinely helps a great deal if a technical problem really digs at you.

keep pushing

Yeah...I found out that pissin' on the keyboard, gratifying though it may be, is actually counterproductive.

Computers, to me, are kinda like women: useful and pleasant at times but really, really touchy.
