Discussions than do it here. I found it really insightful to hear about the experiences with DMT such as as one guy put it when he was through all the layers and got to the final one which was full of symbols and shapes with colour, like a sigil which he assumes was representative of himself!

All those who experienced DMT agree its very spiritual and puts one in touch with the higher being through literally the Universe outside the body and than back again. Reports of contact with other beings as well which further brought theories perhaps it opens the door to the 4th dimension and beyond?

Meditation, Astral Travel can induce such states but DMT would work for us all while not everyone can become at ease and concentrate for mediation and astral travel to do its work.

For me this all ties in with everything else preached by many new age lecturers like Wayne Dyer and Abraham with the LOA ... it seems in my opinion anyway that the DMT brings oneself to this higher being, greeting and meeting it in person while we use other method to influence it more directly and from all descriptions which you will see and hear when watching the above can see that its very colourful with patterns and a sense of peace.

You know when we die briefly, the NDE could it be this sensation experienced that those in the experiments taking DMT were having? Mentions of clouds and white tunnels of light were seen just like in NDE.

I did DMT about 10 years ago. It is truly amazing but incredibly scary. DMT is the chemical released by the Pineal Gland at the moment of death. It gives the person the feeling of their life flashing before their eyes but it gets even deeper than that! When you are high on DMT reality changes completely. You, as a person, no longer exists, you are in a state of total consciousness and oneness with the universe. It becomes frightening because these feeling are extremely intense and for me I thought I had truly died. Now that I know what it does I really want to try again. I think everyone should try it as it will show you things you could never see otherwise. So, yes, it is scary but the good news is it only lasts 5 minutes and you come back to reality.

Whoa that sounds like an interesting journey. I think I remember hearing about this stuff some kids into psychedelics were telling me about. It is a feeling of living in a dream-like-state? I'm not into drugs anymore but I think if it was therapeutic and helped with meditation it would be beneficial. I used to be really into psychedelics I was really fascinated by symbols and hallucinations. I can't watch the video now but I can keep up with it now that I have posted. The only thing I haven't tried (at least I don't think I have) but I would consider one day maybe testing out is peyote, although it could have negative side effects in an unprotected environment. Psychedelics are very humbling and can be a door way into the sense of another spiritual world if not abused and taken responsibly.

peyote is some potent shit! I took it years ago and the trip lasted 24 hours! Unbelievable, you start to become used to things being off and then you come back.

This is interesting, but I can't help but wonder if this chemical simply causes the brain to "spasm" similar to what happens in "near death experiences"...the brain spasms due to loss of blood and oxygen and is "dying". This in turn affects the optic nerve which scientists believe is responsible for the "going toward the light" experience. Who really knows though right? Science is always wanting to explain the often unexplainable.

One very old view, long before we knew anything about the size of the universe, the electromagnetic spectrum, optics, acoustics....you get the drift; many wise old guys told us that our senses didn't allow us to experience the universe, but in fact occluded the universe from our knowing it directly.

Allowing us only a highly filtered and pale, weak imitation of what was actually real.

And that to achieve true consciousness, full awareness, we must fully experience the universe in its unadulerated, purest form not impeded by the limitations of our senses.

Modern science will tell you that "hallucinogens" and "psychadelics" work by scrambling your sensory pathways. I always wondered if perhaps they were actually just opening the blinds a little bit.

Having said that; I gotta say that bangin' on some good, clean acid truly IS a spiritual experience.

I can only fuck with hallucination drugs once a year at most, too much to go through. Weed helps me remember the trips but it will never get me there.

I dont think the authors of this work are promoting drug use to induce this state but testing the waters on experience with DMT and with it being a possible molecule for the spirit. I think you can reach such levels that these drugs promote by mastering meditation.

If your on weed and such than at times how do you know what your seeing is actually real and not a false belief? Yeah I know all about dream states and the belief that we aren't even in a reality now so therefore how can anything else not be a reality, but lets think in the layman's terms ... too much drugs and your going to trip and hallucinate which to me is pointless and not valid. You could imagine being raped by an Alien. Its better going at it natural or with small amounts to take the edge off while mediating. Drugs are not the answer.

Hindu enlightened will never propagate any chemical solution, they will give meditation as solution, people will always over dose and take this as primary source of seeking higher states of awareness, and slowly disclose what should be the normal path.
There were studies done that people who meditated had chemicals naturally produced in the body in quantities needed, we cannot make the same amount by mere hand doses...

Good video, I didn't get all the way through it, was interesting though, if I can get to it I'll finish later on. Basically it makes you high. I like how they have Joe Rogan hosting. My friend told me she had a peyote trip that lasted 3 days. The intro is how a psychedelic trip is the lady raising and lowering the lights. When you trip you can see into another dimension and things like that feel real most likely is in some form of sense. It is like peaking through the blinds of another kind of world. The reason people get so messed up on drugs is because they have no guidance or they get shit that's not pure, cut with something bad, or over-dose. I used to only use once a year, but I would use A LOT that one time, you really don't need it to find a way to open up your mind. You can find that kind of enlightenment other ways; weed being very good to keep you straight. Tripping is fun more as a recreational use and not habitual.
