Defining lower pecs

Hey,

How can i define the bottom part of my pecs so that they look tighter? Decline dumbell presses or Incline dumbell presses?

Also, whats the best exercise to work the inside of your pecs, where they meet the sternum?

Thanks in advance,

Meds.

Any kind of decline pressing movements will hit the lower pecs more than upper. Also, do dips but make sure you kinda lean forward to put the emphasis on the chest not the triceps. As for the inner part of your chest I would recommend doing some sort of fly movement. I like to do incline DB flys to hit my upper and middle areas, but you can also use one of those pec deck machines, or do cable pulley flys.

I get questions like this a lot at the gym. There are 4 different things you can do.

Build muscle, lose muscle, gain fat & lose fat. You can, and should do different exercises for all muscle groups BUT genetics play a huge role in the potential of change. I was lucky(I hate using that word luck, but will for the sake of this topic) I got good genes & I train hard/intense. Most people have one or the other.

Different exercise may bring out an area slighty more but lower bodyfat percentage is the goal for defining anything. This comes from diet/cardio not different exercises.
