Yeah man, I semi-dated a black girl for a little while not long ago. I've been with girls almost every color of the rainbow, but the college I'm at seems to have a concentration of the finest black girls I've ever seen.
I'm a pretty good looking, muscular white guy. I have no problems talking to women, but the one black girl I was with just sort of happened. She was like a friend of a friend. So I was hoping some of the guys (like Crazyed) could offer some advice that have been dating interrracially for a number of years.
It's not my intention to stir any controversy or anything, I'm just finding myself very attracted (even moreso right now) to black girls in general, and wanted a little heads up. Just stuff like: Whats the best way to approach them, is it the same as white girls? Because they seem a little more straight forward. Also, does anyone know how to tell if she is even into white guys (things to look for)?

The only caution I'd trot out comes from a just a personal preference of mine; Please, please, please don't try to act "black" just to fit in. Only a few white guys on the planet can pull it off properly...the rest just look freakish and/or pathetic.

I've dated all kindsa girls from all over the world in my day and with my offbeat (some say perverse) sense of humor and unique (some say whacked) outlook on life, all the gals all said that it was the fact that I didn't act or speak like anybody else they'd ever met that intrigued them.

So just be yourself, and any differences between you two can be an opportunity for some really fun exploration. I had a black chick teach me...well, TRY to teach me how to dance. She still giggles about that to this very day. Had a Korean gal teach me a coupla old Korean drinking games, a Toni Braxton look alike in Colombia, ( God DAMN that woman was beautiful, what she saw in me I'll never know, but I sure as Hell appreciate whatever it was) try to teach me a song in my piss poor Spanish. And ALL of these gals taught me how to cook at least one damn good meal.
Believe me, women LOVE a guy that can cook and it's a shitload of fun learnin'.

If you can make a damn good meal for her AND fix the brakes on her car, you are soooo gonna get laid!

And in the end, like I said; just be yourself.

Not withstanding the quality advice above, it would be good to add the following general exception. (though probably shouldn't be part of you approach and which of course has exceptions) Typically it is ill advised to refer to a black girls rear as skinny and to refer to a white girls rear as fat, though exceptable and even a compliment to do the converse. Although white girls are becoming increasingly sensitive to the word skinny when refering to their rear.

Haha excellent advice. Yeah I have heard that being able to cook and dance are huge turn-ons for a chick. Also, being relatively handy doesn't hurt as I 've heard too. Sounds like your gramps was a cool old guy imo.

lol I just avoid making specific body remarks altogether these days, girls are too insecure for that. I just tell them they're lookin' good if it's the truth.

Speakin' of dry humor...and chicks asses, at the same time, and then throwing a little bit of a compatability test into the mix, here's one of the "cheesy" lines I use to sort out the gals senses of humor, especially when she asks you about her ass first:

Thats what I thought too which is why I was inquiring. The girl you describe sounds alot like the way me and the black girl I was with interacted, really different but in a fun way, and always joking about it. I'm just still trying to find a good way to intitiate conversation, and where to do it instead of waiting for chance circumstances. Since our cultures are so different, our paths don't cross near as often as I would like.

I'm a white guy that has dated several black women over the years. I always just talk to them like any other woman.

In general, I have found the attractive ones more approachable than hot white chicks. They have high booties and naturally more muscular thighs that most white women just don't compare with. I am very athletic and muscular and I like that.

They also seem to be more comfortable and direct about sex. That's just been my experience. They also don't seem to be as tightly wound as some of the white women I have dated.
