Anyone ever used Netflix or a similar mail DVD rental service?

Just wondering how Netflix and shit like that works and how good their service is? Been thinking about signing up, probably the Blockbuster version of the club.

Personally, I can't see how they can stay in business at the rates they're charging. Supposedly, the postage is provided in the monthly cost and the price of postage just keeps getting higher and higher. I don't know what the cost is to send three DVDs through the mail, but I have to imagine that it's at least $2.00 or more. Someone that really uses the service would just kill the profit margin.
 
netflix is the shit. Blockbuster mailing sucks. All their [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/mosdvd.htm]dvd[/words]'s are in terrible condition. Netflix throws out bad ones and resurfaces scratched onest hat can be recovered.
 
Is selection pretty good? If I want to order a rental this Tuesday that is a new release that day do I have a pretty good chance of getting it sent out that day?

Also, I am right about the postage, aren't I? You don't have to pay the postage too, correct?
