Understanding girth gains

Hello, I just started incorporating girth into my stretching routine (doing it couple of hours after stretches) and I have couple of questions. I feel like I understand how length gains work much better than I did before I came here to MoS. Especially, I know that wrapping after length work is an absolute KEY! But I am still quite new to girth so I want to ask these questions to understand better.
1. Can I train for girth at the same time as I train for length? From what I have read so far, a lot of people say that length first, girth second. Also a lot of people say that if you do both, you may actually limit the amount that you could have gained if you would have focused on just one aspect. But then there are guys like DLD who did both and gained a lot in both at the same time, so I am a bit confused about this.

2. If my penis shrinks, does that hinder my girth gains? I mean this in a sense that after girth work, a lot of people say that you should keep the expansion you acquired during workout, so you should put a cockring or wrap your penis, so it remains engorged. But this is not always possible and especially, lets say that I do some sport (which I do a lot) and during those activities it is really uncomfortable to wear something like that. Also during such intense physical activity like sport, penis usually shrinks. So, if it shrinks or not neccesarily shrinks, but gets BELOW the expanded state acquired during last girth session, will it hinder my girth gains?

3. How long it takes to get girth gains? In comparison with length. Also, how often do you measure girth gains? What is still considered an okay progress and what is considered a plateau when going for girth?

4. What are the most effective girth exercises? I recently started doing something, I dont even know the name of it, maybe you can help me. I get an erection 100 % hard. Then, I squeeze with an overhand OK grip at the very base of my penis, I push it as far to the pubic bone as possible and I squeeze hard, focusing mainly on the bottom part of the penis. I hold this for 30 seconds. Then, I keep the squeeze and keep moving slowly up the shaft for 20-30 seconds. Then, I stop and my OK grip is at this point of approximately 3/4 of my penis. My erection is about 70-80 % at this point and I make the squeeze lighter but I still hold it. Then, I bend my shaft forward and hold it for 10 seconds. Then, I bend it backwards focusing on the bottom part of penis right below glans. Then, I sometimes also bend it to the sides. I do this 5 times, always couple fo hours after my length session.

5. How often should you train girth? I think most people say that length canbe trained pretty much every day but with girth penis is more sensitive and can get overworked fast. So, what are your opinions?
 
Yes you can do both length and girth together. You can do them in the same session or you can do them in separate sessions. For most people it’s easier to concentrate on one thing at a time so separate sessions make the most sense.

Length enhances girth and girth enhances length. There’s a really great article you can search out on the form called “the penis is a balloon not a rope“ this will teach you the dynamics of what I’m speaking of above.

How quickly you gain length or girth depends on the work you put in. With a good routine white SRT you could see up to an inch in both within six months.

The most effective girth exercise is the 5×5×3 found in SRT. There is no faster way to pack on girt then with the 5×5×3.

Thank you so much DLD! Actually, I read the article about penis as balloon, I think its very interesting. And also it makes sense, because when the penis gets 100 % hard, obviously its not expanding only girth wise but also length wise, so I can see how girth may also affect length.
The 5x5x3 routine looks fairly simple, I will definitely give it a try when I get my pump! Do you have any recommendation on what should I do instead, since I dont have the pump yet.
 
In response to your question about clamping and wearing a cock ring after girth work, you don't have to keep it on all day afterwards. I wear my ring for about 30 minutes after my workout to maintain the expansion for a while, and then take it off and do some mild stretching to help alleviate the fluid retention, if any, that exists.

You can start out by just doing the SSJ for 30 minutes a day and then when you do get a pump we can add that in

By the way, I have one more question. You said I should do SSJ for 30 minutes a day. But in the original 5x5x3, there is 3 sets of 5 minutes, whcih is 15 minutes of SSJ. Wouldnt 30 minutes be too much?

No because you’re making up for the fact that you’re not using a pump so those five minute sessions go back into the SSJ making it 30 minutes long.

Also, I wanted to ask you, what do you think about clamping? Because I read a lot of posts from guys claiming that they gained like 2 inches in girth in matter of months from clamping and that it is the ultimate girth exercise etc...on the other hand, some others claim that pump is actually not creating a permanent girth because it only makes the penis swollen temporarily and thats it. But then there are guys who say that clamping is dangerous and didnt bring them any gains and pumping is the way...
So, as always, I am very confused from all the contradictory opinions I have read...I am not sure what to think now. I am curious about your opinion.
 
He just set a timer for 30 minutes and get as many reps in as possible. Your goal after 30 minutes is to see expansion beyond your normal size
