You will never understand....

Some people are passionate about sports. You obviously are not.

Think of something that you are passionate about that failed miserably.

That is how sports fans feel about a loss.

:s P.E.??? :p

Hey, its better than the Lions, right? :) Now shut up and make me some kool-aide.

i wish they won so that would put a lost on denver and then san diego can gian a half game

What is the deal? Cundiff nails a 56 yarder last week and misses yesterday from 35. Good grief! Bledsoe is pissing me off, too. Two weeks in a row he has thrown the ball right to the other team. Shit-- who's paying him? I thought we were, but not sure anymore.

And yes, the play calling at the end of the 4th Q was for shit yesterday.

Hey at least you're not Alabama fans. You want to talk about disappointment? Two different teams took the field for the Crimson Tide this year. One that not only put points on the board but shut down opposing offenses, and then the other allowed 11 sacks in one game. Does that sound like disappointment? Believe me I more than understand.

Yeah, I was bummed out to see that. I was rooting for them, as I would have like to have seen Denver with a loss. I don't want the Steelers to have to play in Denver in January.

Well, I don't think the Steelers will be in it in January. Big Ben hasn't been healthy for some time, and it's looking like Indy may just be for real, enough? I'm not sure how it will shake out but I think the Broncos can be there if Jake the Snake doesn't bite them in the arse.

In the playoffs? Their chances are excellent.

If they can beat Cincinnati the second time, they've pretty much won the division, guaranteeing them postseason play. If they go 3-3 from here on out, they'll be 10-6, which almost always gets you in the playoffs. If they go 4-2, I've never known anyone to miss the playoffs at 11-5. If they can upset Indy tonight (I don't think they will, but they'll give them a tough game), it would be almost impossible for the Steelers to miss the postseason.

Ben had some knee trouble earlier in the season, but his play at the start of the season was top notch. Against San Diego he banged the knee up and hurt it again on Monday night against Baltimore, but he's been taking part in practice for about two weeks now and has been kept out mostly for precautionary reasons. I could be wrong, but I expect his knee to be solid at this point.

PF, good point. I thought he was being held out just to ensure that he was healthy for the playoffs. Makes plenty of sense to me, but what is going on with Bettis, Staley, and Parker. They've all been banged up here and there. Think they'll make it through the playoffs healthy?

Personally I think the broncos may just be the best team in the AFC. I also think that the bears just may be good enough to pull it off in the wild wild NFC. Did anyone see the Giants and Seahawks last night?

lol, yes man. I don't know how well Jay Feely slept last night, but I know he helped me get over that Dallas loss to the Broncos.
