Couple of days ago, I mentioned the procedure of reverse vasectomy and how 'vasectomy' is now not permanent as it was.
Also I mentioned that I am going to make a thread about this. So here it goes.....

Vasectomy

Vasectomy is a procedure that men go through is they do not want children anymore.Till recently, it was considered to be the permanent male birth control. What happens in vasectomy is that the tubes which goes from your scrotum to your prostate are snipped and tied tightly.
These tubes carry sperm cells mixes them with seminal fluid.
There are types of vasectomies but I am not going to go in details :)

Reverse Vasectomy

Reverse vasectomy is a procedure which reverse the effect of your previous vasectomy.
What happens is that the doctor opens up those tightly knotted tubes and tied them together again.

This is not a quick procedure so do not expect that your fertility will be regained just after the surgery.
It can take upto 6-12 months for your fertility to come back. Even longer in some cases.

Side effects: Side effects are rare but still possible.
1. Bleeding in your scrotum
2. Infection
3. Severe or persistent pain

Don’t have a lot of knowledge on this but I’m very happy you started the thread about it because I’ve wondered the same thing.

Thanx DLD....

Can there be a sex ed section in MOS....
Can't find the perfect place to post these kinds of threads...
Thus I used technology forum because it is related to science.....

Awesome post.
But my suggestion is to not do a vasectomy, if you later want to reverse it.
