I’ve been using the Bathmate hydroxtreme7 for about 3 months now. I started out following the Bathmate recommended routine and have recently started to 552 program. My main problem/question is if it’s normal to have a practically permanent purplish dick skin from the vacuum pump? When erect it’s not as noticeable because the skin is stretched but flaccid it’s very noticeable. It is only on the skin of the shaft from the point of suction to the head. Nothing on the actual head and there isn’t any pain, tingling or numbness. Is this normal? If so does it last as long as I’m pumping? Do I need to stop or back off significantly? Thanks.

Until recently 3 minutes in and 2 minutes out like Bathmate suggests in their user guide. The 552 is basically the same but with 5 minutes in. It’s a routine I found on here in the forum. The hydroextreme doesn’t have a gauge but I never pump until even a little pain and I’ve never gotten the “dots” that people refer to when they over pressure.

I think you mean the Girth program (SRT 5x5x3) ?

Are you doing the slow squash jelq or edging during 2 minutes like the 5x5x3 program.

The purple can be a sign of too much pressure as I mentioned. It’s not normal from my personal experience. If you are only in for 3 minutes that’s nothing to worry about.

Yes you are correct it’s the 5x5x3 program and I’m attempting to do the slow squash jelq but I just started a couple days ago and I’m still working on the technique.
I had been doing 3 cycles of 3 minutes under pump and 2 minutes off. Warmup with warm water and light jelqing before first round. On first round light pump pressure slowly building up pressure. 2 minutes rest with light jelqing. 2nd pump cycle increasing pressure more than first and adding keagles during pump. 2 minutes rest with medium jelqing. Last pump cycle building up pressure and keagles again. Finish with jelqing, “cooldown” and cleanup.

Sounds like a solid routine to me!

Maybe try pumping once day and every other day to help condition your penis.

Try increasing your off time during jelqs to 3 or 4 minutes.

Maybe something like this - 3x3x3 for example.

Thanks. I’ll see how that works out for getting back to a consistent skin color. It’s doesn’t hurt or anything but it sure doesn’t look normal.

I’ll have to do that tomorrow when I get back home. I’ll show at the base where the pump actually starts the vacuum so the normal skin tone changes to the darker color.

Are you getting expansion at the end of your session? You want to make sure that you are getting anything from .25 to .5 of temporary expansion after your pumping session. I suggest you buy a tailor tape and measure your expansion with it at the end of your session.

Also, you need to do the 5x5x3 routine. See below:

I am getting girth expansion. I’m currently at the point where I’m filling most of the chamber by the end of my 3rd round.

Oh! So you are saying it’s the ring around the base where the pump is placed. That’s not a big issue to me. You are fine.

Yes it starts at the base but the darker extends all the way up the skin of my shaft and stops at the head.

How long does it typically take to complete a 5x5x3 program? I mean aside from the designated time under vacuum and off there’s also the time dedicated to trying to ensure you’re erect for the vacuum. It’s taking me over 45 minutes start to finish. Is that typical? Thanks.

With rest that sounds about perfect
