Physical Gains vs. Physiological Gains

@DLD and fellows -- So here's a mental model of P.E. that I bet you have at least thought a fair bit.

When you pump in a Bathmate, for example, you're basically showing yourself that you already have the physical structures to accommodate the max size that you can pump to. Similar to how a rubber band or other materials will simply stretch and deform under tension.

So, why does it take a pump to increase the size beyond normal EL and EG? Because the body does not have the phsyiological mechanisms at that point to produce such a size.

Similarly, length gains seem to have both a physical and physiological component. There is ligament stretching through just the pure stretching force, and then there are realized and cemented gains that occur through the response to the physical force.

I'm starting to think physical vs. physiological gains are two separate facets of P.E. that interact with each other, aptimizing the interaction between the two seems to be the greatest quest.

Any thoughts?

Physiological is much more about blood flow, recovery materials, providing an appropriate stimulus, progressing up to an advanced routine, and so on.

Physical is much more of pure mechanical aspects like tension, force applied, and so on.

Theory is that pursuing one without the other will greatly compromise results / Every physical component of enlargement should be paired with a correponsding physiological component for optimal efficiency in a routine.

I think both are equally important. I have always taught that getting beyond normal erect size, by any means, is the most important part of enlargement. That temporary gain we get needs to constantly happen to cement that size and go for the next. I hope that helps. If not let me know

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense thanks. I always intuitively thought "I bet the best way to get to 10'' EL is actually to get to 12'' BPFSL and then develop the PC muscles to handle the new physical size."
