new injury after a lot of hanging length work, tip getting torn up

Basically, I do at least 3 hours of length work everyday, for the past several months. Two of those hours are hanging, one is LM work.

Always the tip of my penis has been sensitive, gets a little red sometimes little cuts but nothing terribly serious. This also isn't a serious injury, right now. But the tip of my glans it's basically just all dried out and becoming just torn up. Small cuts etc.

I know about the creams and the ointments. I'm mostly just trying to wrap my thoughts around how to prevent this. I wrap the tip of my glans as tight as I can with tape, wrap, and sports tape.

Only solution that I can think of is to make sure all my blood is out of my glans, which I always make sure I do best I can, and to perhaps limit my sessions. I do think maybe 20 minutes is the sweet spot then I got to recirculate.

Any suggestions? I've been trying my wrapping techniques for a very long time so I don't think it's that. I'm kind of stumped how to prevent this other than limit sessions and really emphasize no blood is at my tip. Also, I don't really use any creams or moisturizers, the tip of my penis does seem to be getting very dried out with this length work, so maybe moisturizing will help although I don't see it fixing the root of it.

I think the injury is mostly from the length master pushing so much pressure on the very tip of the penis with vacuum hanging and ADS putting a lot of pressure at the very tip tip.

Also interested, as I do a lot of manual work the very top gets battered and red

I understand what you’re saying about creams but there is a miracle cream that you need to get that will solve this whole issue. The magic is Hydrocortisone. This cream will solve your issue immediately and it will never come back again. This cream is incredible for irritation, redness, itchiness, dryness and many other skin ailments.

Squeezing all the blood out of your head you for strapping in is very wise or you will be risking a blister. So I’m happy you’re doing this

Thanks dld! I'm going to start trying to use hydrocortisone at the very minimum after every length work. Maybe I won't need to moisturize, the hydrocortisone will be good enough. for months I've never had this issue, and it's creeping up right now so it's strange.

I will! I'm going to get myself some hydrocortisone tomorrow and use it everyday.

I should wait at least a day, for my kind of minor injury but I don't want to wait so I did start back up today. Interestingly I put a piece of material while I'm hanging and I pull on it so slightly right over the tip of the penis to relieve pressure on the very tip, I don't know if this will make a difference, but it feels pretty good in that it feels like it's relieving pressure. You can see the strap in the picture where it goes directly over my tip. This is an interesting test, initial results seem positive! I will try this for several days see how it goes!

That is my length picture too, I hang usually between 12 to 20 lb. This is a 15-lb hang.

Is hydrocortisone OK on the head of the penis? Always though folks used it on skin part only

That sounds like an interesting way to hang and alleviate the pressure from the head. If it’s not taking away from intensity then I say this is a really good thing. The Hydrocortisone is going to blow your mind. It is the miracle cream when it comes to all skin issues

I included a picture of my injury. More or less that is a minor one, but a very extremely extremely annoying one. I believe it's caused mostly from using equipment and hanging and the pressure is at the very tip causing these tears. I'm still experimenting using a strap to alleviate pressure at the very tip. That's still up in the air, and like DLD said it may be affecting the intensity.

This is a hard injury to cure cuz you want to increase intensity but not get any more injury. This is something I'm having issues with. Right now I'm trying to not stop on intensity but maybe lower sets and resting between sets, this does seem to help. This is all working progress, but what a bummer. Even using ADS now is causing pressure at the very tip of the penis and injuring it more and making it harder to do sets. This is a bummer I'm really distressed about this. Because I'm not sure how to fix this. It's mostly caused from equipment, I don't really like doing manual work although manual work you can circulate blood more and less likely to have this kind of injury. What a bummer

I'm going to stick with the hydrocortisone see what happens. This too isn't easy though, a lot of it is probably rubbing off on my underwear from the tip of my dick, and Band-Aids are expensive.

I would like you to do something different my brother. Now seeing the picture get yourself a tube of bacitracin and use that on your head where the injury is. Bacitracin will heal an open sore or cut very quickly. This needs to heal and it will heal very quickly with bacitracin over about one week. Hydrocortisone on the other hand is more used for skin issues that are not open sores like dryness, irritation, redness, itchy and other skin issues.

I'll be doing that immediately with the bacitracin! Ty tons as always dld. I'll update this thread as things progress. Maybe others can learn from it too.

let’s keep it very close contact. I would like to hear from you every day to hear how you’re doing. That way we can discover the point you can stop using bacitracin and move on to hydrocortisone.

Day three going on using the bacatracin. It's going very very well. So I'm extremely happy about that. I barely slowed up my routine as well. What changed mostly when I'm doing now, is sticking to 20 minutes set, send doing at least a 5 to 10 minute rest to my next set. Then, I'm taking a lot of sports tape and wrapping it around my head until I feel it secure, then I put one piece of tape over the head directly. This seems to be working, for now...

Then I have to tackle the dryness part of it I need something more than hydrocortisone, Burt's bees maybe?

That makes me very happy and I’m so glad you took my advice. With bacitracin you should be in good shape within the next two days. From that point, after it’s healed, use hydrocortisone every single day and skin issues will disappear.

What part on the head has bacitracin helped with?

It was the very tip, I posted a photo above. I put the bacatracin just on the tip. And it was the very tippy tip, it's like all the pressure builds up at that one focal point and causes injury

Ok great if it's helped that area I might grab some

To completely and absolutely necessary creams to have on hand. Bacitracin for open sores or cuts and hydrocortisone for dry, red, itchy, irritable skin. You use the hydrocortisone once a day after your training is done. The bacitracin you only use when there’s a open cut.

I'm just going on day two of using hydrocortisone at the end of the day. I wish I started it sooner! I've been doing more PE than ever, especially hanging and the tip of penis is definitely taking a beating, not really itching but redness and irritation for sure and being very dry.

I have advocated for this for 20 years now and the men who do take the advice and a very happy they did.
