my question is why is male genital mutilation as a part of religion more acceptable than female genital mutilation.

It's more cultural than religious. No existing religion demands blood sacrifice from females, Only one demands it from male infants.

Bible stories about male and baby male sacrifices, some researchers say that women were sacrified too in ancient cultures.

Circumcision was a Jewish practice. Christians were never expected to be circumcised. But religion today has taken Jesus and made him into laws. No, there is no law for any Christian. The law was meant for the Jews. Our circumcision is the circumcision of the heart when we accept Jesus

I am a Jesus plus nothing pastor and I would never suggest to any of my congregation to becomes circumcised because of religion. It’s just like Christians who think they need to follow the 10 Commandments when they can’t even tell you what the 10 commandments are. We are not Jews, The 10 Commandments have nothing to do with us.

Christians live under grace and with grace there are no rules. There’s only two commands love God above all things and love your brother as God has love you. Gods grace is sufficient.

Circumcision happens today out of two reasons one is religions misunderstanding of the Bible and some people do it for hygiene.
