Ok guys do I decided to start a short decon break 3 weeks ago. Got a few questions to ask. Been manual stretching with extender on and off for about a year. Probably 6 months solid in total. Have used a penis pump for the past 6 years probably once a week up until 6 months ago where I used it 3-4 times a week.

How long of a deconditioning break do you guys think I should take?

Thanks for your help

Have you plateaued in your gains? What was your starting size and how much have you gained since your "real" start 6 months ago? What has your routine been and how intense is it now?

Probably started around 6.4 so gained about an inch in erect size overall. Started with 3 months newbie routine + extender into full srt with bath mate, hanging and extender. Towards the end was very intense and seeing no gains for 1.5 months.

So 45 day plateau at this point. I hit a few of those too. I wouldn't completely stop using the extender myself, maybe try more time at a lower intensity so you are putting more time under tension on the tunica. This has just been my method to break plateau's, I went from 7.25" to 9" that way. Other guys have had success with deconditioning too though. So read through, get advice and do what you think is best for you. Just be sure to at least do some basic maintenance work to ensure you don't lose any gains, you want those cemented.

It is time to change things up. You will need to add intensity to what you’re doing or you need to bring new exercises and tools into the mix. Hitting a plateau only means you exhausted the gains from those particular exercises. Choosing new exercises will give you a different angle on growth.

Taking a 1 week break after a cycle is recommended, but a couple of time a year it's a good idea to take 2+ weeks off for deep physical recovery. This helps to refresh the mind as well.

That’s also a very good idea that I was not even thinking about. Thank you Al.

Thanks for the feedback and comments guys, Really appreciate the help. I definitely feel that the break has helped with my erection quality and also it was good to have a mental break to evaluate my goals and make sure I know how I’m gonna get to where I wanna go. With that said I will end my decon break tomorrow I will be uploading my styled type of SRT routine that I will be doing over the next 3 months into 6.

I’m so happy this break put things into perspective for you. I am also very excited that you’re going to be jumping into SRT. Once you have it written out let me check it up to make sure everything is SRT compatible.

Thanks mate. There were a couple of questions I actually needed to ask you before I finalise my routine. I was gonna do a short newbie routine at the start but not a standard one. I was gonna do the stretches and the jelqs but use the extender throughout the day and gradually increase the extender time as I progress. Would this be a good idea to start with after the break and if so how long should I do the newbie routine with the extender added in? I was thinking just 1 month but I’m not sure. Thanks again.

If you mean easing into it when you restart that’s probably a smart idea for the first couple days but eventually you’ll want to have a solid routine that will build on the break that you took.
