Sorry DLD but its annoying that everytime I log in I have to make sure my speakers are on mute if I'm around other people and checking the forums. Is there anyway to disable it, it automatically downloads and plays.

If you have firefox or chrome, download "element hiding helper".

If you have firefox/chrome all you have to do is click on the hide element option and select what you want to block.

To create a hotkey(in firefox): go to "about:config", then search for "extensions.elemhidehelper.selectelement_key", then right click, select modify, then add a hotkey.

Just don't block "any domain", instead do sitewide blocks like @domain, that way it only blocks things for certain sites.
For instance, my block hotkey is "ALT+A" and my keyboard hotkeys are "Q" = quit, "W" = +expand(forward), "N" = -expand(back), "B" = blink(element).

Very easy to use and very easy to fuck shit up. If you make a mistake, disable adblock temporarily, then click "open blockable items", then find the item you want to unblock, then modify/disable or edit it.

I never experienced this in the past. We don't have such a problem here anymore.
