If you have firefox or chrome, download "element hiding helper".
If you have firefox/chrome all you have to do is click on the hide element option and select what you want to block.
To create a hotkey(in firefox): go to "about:config", then search for "extensions.elemhidehelper.selectelement_key", then right click, select modify, then add a hotkey.
Just don't block "any domain", instead do sitewide blocks like @domain, that way it only blocks things for certain sites.
For instance, my block hotkey is "ALT+A" and my keyboard hotkeys are "Q" = quit, "W" = +expand(forward), "N" = -expand(back), "B" = blink(element).
Very easy to use and very easy to fuck shit up. If you make a mistake, disable adblock temporarily, then click "open blockable items", then find the item you want to unblock, then modify/disable or edit it.
