I have been deeply upset about it, its horror in the 1st degree.
I'm not going to explin it all because you can get the horror here http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/4140097.stm what a fuckin shame, my heart goes OUT....WAY OUT to all those people who have been affected by it. GODBLESS them, the Asians are amongst the nicest people I have EVER met in my entire life and I have good connections in the far east.
I have donate a large fee to the British Red Cross via amazon.com and I hope you do the same....see http://s1.amazon.com/exec/varzea/ts/my-pay-page/P3RDR40PV9HS5E/058-8713148-1459032 its the US site but us Brits are the Backbone of the First Aid and rescue attempts. I cant belive no one here has yet mentioned it. Give what you can, they need all the help they can get. I dont feel like its a Happy new year, its the beggining of a SAD new year.

I have two Indonesian friends at college. One of them stayed in Boston for the holidays, but the other went home and we didn't hear from her for days after it happened. We were really freaked out because she apparently lives where it happened or at least very close, but she's ok and so is her family, thankfully. I can't even imagine what people over there are going through.

This is so sad and unbelieveable. It so could have happened here too, assuming such an earthquake. Although the construction of buildings here in the U.S. is probably of a higher quality, just think about how flat Florida is and how much further inland the water would have gone. Something like this really should serve as a wake-up call to all of us that are blessed enough to live in the most developed nations and make us realize we're not immune from such things and we need to do anything we can to help such people.

My cousin's dad lives in Jakarta, but I heard he's all right. It's the worst thing to happen ever quite possibly. I'm going to give money as soon as possible.

I'm not sure what'll I'll actually do here, if anything. I am starting to be concerned that the money may not go to the right places. We've all seen the photo of the man with the Osama shirt and shit. I heard reports that a terrorist camp in Indonesia was destroyed by the tsunami. While Indonesia is not a close ally, they're not considered a hostile government either. Why was this tolerated before? I'm not sure I want to give anything unless I could be assured it would only go to the right places.

I still feel awful for the innocent people.

oooooooh im so fucking tired of this fucking shit!

because there were alot of Swedish people there and also died, they have to show it everyday. I get so angry... and the only big real reason they give money is because of the Swedish people down there, otherwise they wouldnt be as giving.

Fuck this shit, it was a tragic event. But shit happens to the best, my condoleance to the families.

Not to be harsh... but seeing this everyday makes me angry of the nagging.
