Tried water pumping for first time

Guys, so I've been pumping with air off and on for a while. I decided to try a water pump. I bought the x30 with the pump ball. I tried it tonight. It felt kind of like I was being pinched towards the bottom of the tube. Almost felt like i should have used lube even with the water. I only pumped off and on for about 10 minutes to try it out. I did some SSJ in between pumps. I tried moving it around in different positions and actually it felt the best to have it pointed straight down so my penis was more in the middle of the tube and stayed away from the edges. Anyone else feel like the water pumps kind of pinch your skin a little?

Bathmate tends to be a bit too large in diameter to properly accomodate the penis current diameter. That extra skin in between the baffle edge and the penis base tends to pull up the skin, creating a crease under vacuum pressure that feels like a pinch. In reality, it's just the free skin rising up into the cylinder at the base. When you point the pump downwards with the penis during the pump, you're creating a tighter skin surface by displacing the skin a tiny bit. It's not enough, but just enough to create a bit more comfort.

The X30 has a comfort insert to reduce the amount of diameter around the for this specific reason. If you don't have the insert, my suggestion is not to use that insert but to purchase a universal donut instead. Measure the outter diameter of the baffle and get the thick, the very thick, silicone universal donut for your usage instead. It reduces the size of the diameter, the middle allow expansion as needed, the center riser acts as a cock ring to increase the blood retention better, and the thick layer of silicone at the base will give you much greater comfort than the comfort insert from Bathmate. The brothers that use Bathmate either do this or abandoned it and went with the MityVac system instead. There are pluses and minuses, but those of us used both for a long while, we would tell you to use the MityVac each and every time. Since you already have the X30, use it until you can't handle it any more. Invest up and not another Bathmate.

What is different about the mityvac wet/dry vs a standard vac pump? I have the brass vac pump that works fine. Just figured I'd try the water for a change. Also my x30 did come with the silicone sleeve which is what I was using when I felt the pinch. I actually found a little cut mark on the underside of my shaft which looked to be about in the same area as the pinching feeling I had.

MityVac pump layout allows the water pumping on top of the air. If your normal pump has similar layout as the MityVac with a reservoir, that's perfectly fine as well. Just make sure the trigger pump is water supporting or serviceable if water intruded into the inner chamber. MityVac trigger pump is designed for longevity even with water intrusion. In addition, make sure the cylinder you are using is a quality cylinder with high support negative pressure range. Your highest pressure should be 1/3 the pressure supportive of the cylinder at any given time for safety reason.

As for the silicone sleeve, is it a penis sleeve uses for adema control or the comfort sleeve that inserted into the pump? Two different things. If it's the adema penis sleeves don't use it.

Got it. How's the diameter of the comfort sleeve and your penile base diameter? Too much room? If it's greater than a gap of green pea, it may be too big. If it's less, your penile skin will fill up in about a session from an erectile state to an expanded state. During the first session, try using low pressure rather than moderate pressure. If your upper pressure is 6inHg, moderate pressure should be 5ingh, and lower pressure is around 4inHg. This gives enough time for the skin to expand under pressure using warm water to prevent that skin folding kink at the edge.

The mityvac is the way to go as it is equally powerful with air and water. Warm water pumping is best as it brings much better results. Sorry about the cut but @oldandlively gave you great advice that will solve this issue.
